人間好時節 卷二-夕燒‧驚蟄‧霜降

春有百花秋有月,夏有涼風冬有雪

若無閒事掛心頭,便是人間好時節

      《人間好時節》系列源自於作曲家對生活景物的感動,寓情於景並以此入樂,描繪自然情境的真摯感受;〈夕燒.驚蟄.霜降〉為此系列的第二部作品,以「夕燒」的美景,「驚蟄」的春雷乍響與「霜降」的薄靄,共譜蒼茫。

  本曲由三段-〈夕燒〉、〈驚蟄〉、〈霜降〉-組成:

  I、〈夕燒〉:「夕燒」指的是夕陽時分,天空呈現火紅色的霞彩,通常發生在颱風來臨之前後,令人目眩神迷。本段的音響構築在梅湘(Olivier Messiaen, 1908-1992)稱之為金色與棕色的第二有限位移調式第二轉位的音階上,在凝滯的氛圍中緩緩流動。

  II、〈驚蟄〉:「驚蟄」為中國節氣之一,春雷乍響,大地回春,萬蟲攢動,處處迸發的生命力,為盎然春意之寫照。

III、〈霜降〉:「霜降」亦為中國節氣之一,代表秋季的尾聲。本段之構想來自於潘越雲演唱之台語歌曲《桂花巷》中的「誰知花,等人採,已經霜降日落西」一句,在淒苦優美的曲調中結束全曲。

      “The Great Times” series originates from the composer’s feelings toward scenery in life. The composer commits his emotions to music to describe his genuine feelings for nature. Being the second composition in the series, “Rosy Clouds, Insects’ Awakening, Frost’s Descent” expresses the sense of vastness with the beautiful scenery of “Rosy Clouds”, sudden clap of spring thunder of “Insects’ Awakening” and thin mist in “Frost’s Descent”.

      The composition is composed of three parts—Rosy Clouds, Insects' Awakening and Frost's Descent.

      I “Rosy Clouds”—Rosy Clouds are fiery red clouds in the sky at dusk. The dazzling clouds are usually seen before and after typhoons. The sound in this part is constructed on the second transposition of mode two, which is called golden and brown by Olivier Messiaen, and flows smoothly in still atmosphere.

      II “Insects’ Awakening”—Insects’ Awakening is one of the Chinese solar terms when the spring thunder suddenly claps, the spring returns and all insects awake. The vitality far and wide is the image of exuberant spring.

      III “Frost’s Descent”—Frost’s Descent is also one of the Chinese solar terms and signifies the end of autumn. The idea of this part comes from the Taiwanese song “Laurel Lane”, sung by Michelle Pan Yue Yun. The whole composition ends in sorrowful, graceful melody.
